"Migratory Birds" tells of movement and stillness at the same time. In gentle flight, the silhouettes of golden birds circle around an abstract circle of the sun or moon - as if time itself is pausing for a moment. The matt surface in earthy tones lends the scene depth and tranquillity.

The motif has a meditative, almost poetic effect without being obtrusive. It gives the room structure and a quiet dynamic.
